MEADE The Variable Projection Tele-extender is designed for eyepiece projection photography at the rear cell of an SCT. A sliding mechanism enables the distance from the eyepiece to the film plane to be varied thus changing the size of the image. The effect can be likened to zooming and is particularly useful in high-resolution lunar and planetary imaging.
