Leica APO-Televid Telescopes Leica's APO-Televid telescopes represent the pinnacle of the telescope makers art. No-compromise design using the very best materials give stunning performance in all light conditions. In producing their new range Leica have increased the apertures to give brighter images and have introduced a completely new zoom eyepiece, designed to give a wider field of view than ever before. Not only can you get close to your subject, you can see more of it. Choose the 82mm if maximum performance in dull conditions is your highest priority. Choose the 65mm for its smaller size, lower weight and lower bulk. Angled and straight versions of both sizes are available. The angled version is more popular and offers a more comfortable view when seated in a hide or using a tripod. The straight version is preferred by some observers when hand-holding the telescope and leaning against a support. Whichever model you choose you can be sure that Leica's superior optics are 'simply the best'. |
