The EM-11 is a very compact and transportable German equatorial mount, with a maximum loading capacity of 9 kg. The serious amateur will reserve it for OTAs weighing up to 6 kg, such as the TSA-102, Mewlon-180 or Maksutov-Cassegrains of 150mm diameter. The EM-11 becomes, in this case, a compact and efficient EQ mount with an excellent transportability/performance ratio.
