Takahashi EM-200 Mount

The EM-200 is a German equatorial mount providing a stable support for any telescope up to 15 kg without accessories (load limit 18kg excluding counterweight). For example, Mewlon-210, CN-212 or TOA-130 OTAs will be handled comfortably with their equipment for astrophotography or CCD imaging.

The EM-200, with an ergonomic design and particularly adapted to the hard night conditions, was designed to face the most extreme visual and photographic challenges. RA/DEC motors are totally integrated inside the mount leaving no components outside that are easily lost during night observation.

Strict quality control produces a periodic error of only ± 5 arcsecond. The EM-200 is available with basic RA and DEC drives or with two fully computerised GOTO systems. These are very similar except for the maximum slew speed which is 120x (12v) and 250x (24v) for the Temma-2 Jr and 350x (12v) and 700x (24v) for the Temma-2.

This is the upgraded version of the EM-200 Temma-2. It has a new control box with new autoguider port. It operates from 12 volts but has higher slewing speeds.
