The view through the ETX-60, ETX-70 and ETX-80 is normally reversed from left to right. For a more pleasing view of terrestrial objects attach the Erecting Prism to the rear of the telescope and slip in one of your usual eyepieces. You may find you use the telescope as much for bird-watching as for astronomy.

Convert your telescope into a 350 mm telephoto lens by using the #64ST adaptor. The adaptor attaches to the rear port of the telescope. All you need then is a T-ring for your particular brand of camera.

AstroFinder celestial software displays over 10,000 astronomical objects -- galaxies, nebulae, star clusters, stars, and planets -- on your (Windows-based) PC, enabling even the beginner to locate and identify objects to observe with the telescope or to print out star charts for use in observing sessions.

With Meade AstroFinder Software loaded into your PC, Autostar-equipped ETX Telescopes may be Remotely Controlled from the PC Display.

The Software CD ROM displays thousands of Astronomical Objects including Galaxies, Nebulae, Star Clusters, Stars, & Planets on your PC Monitor (Windows only). This enables even the beginner to locate & identify objects to observe with the telescope, as well as print out Star Charts for use in observing sessions.

Establish alignment, and simply point & click on any point on the sky map showing on your computer monitor, & the Telescope will Slew & Stop, showing that area in your Eyepiece. The cable included connects from a Serial Port to a Phone Type RS 232 Jack. PC's with only USB ports require the computer accessory USB/RS-232 adapter as well.
