Meade's Advanced Coma-Free (ACF) optical system provides sharper images and a flatter field than a traditional Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope. This makes it more suitable for today's imaging systems as well as providing better visual performance.

The 8-inch model is easy for the average person to manage on their own. The 10-inch is a bit heavier and bulkier so takes more effort but is still manageable.
