Nexstar SLT TelescopesCelestron SLT Telescopes offer an inexpensive option for astronomers wanting computer control to help find their way around the sky. Each telescope has a built-in processor that will find and track thousands of objects. They are easy to set up and align so you can soon get into action. The 102 is a short-tube refractor which gives a wide field of view, making it ideal for browsing the Milky Way and observing larger objects such as the Pleiades. It can also be used at high magnification and is suitable for terrestrial viewing when used with the optional image erector. The 130 is a Newtonian Reflector and collects more light per pound than the refractor. The 90 and 127 are new Maksutov-Cassegrain telescopes which use a combination of mirrors and a corrector lens to probude a more compact telescope with sharper images. Both are excellent for planets and good for all deep-sky objects. |
