The SKYTEE-2 is a heavy duty alt-azimuth mount capable of holding two telescope tubes of up to 15kg each in parallel.

A Skywatcher/Vixen-type dovetail saddle plate is included on each side of the mount. Precise manual slow motion controls are provided on each axis.

A counterweight bar is also included that accepts Sky-Watcher counterweights. Compatible with the Sky-Watcher 1.75" stainless steel tripod supplied with the EQ5 and HEQ5 equatorial mounts.

Excellent light-weight alt-az motorised mount that will track automatically. Fitted to accept Vixen-style dovetail plates, it will take a variety of optical tubes. Maximum recommended tube sizes are Startravel 102, Explorer 130, Skymax 127 or their equivalents.

The EQ2 Equatorial Mount is suited to both beginners and experienced astronomers. It offers very good stability and the tall, fully adjustable aluminium tripod with large accessory tray is a real plus. This mount features 360º slow-motion tracking gears on both the right ascension and declination axes with flexible controls.

Dual metal setting circles allow location of objects by their R.A. and DEC. coordinates. A separate latitude adjustment aids in polar alignment.

An optional D.C. Motor Drive can be installed to the R.A. axis for auto-tracking purposes.

Slow-motion control knobs allow for continuous manual tracking of celestial objects. The precision mount features full 360º worm-gear tracking controls on both R.A. and DEC. axes. Dual metal setting circle dials allow quick location of target using celestial coordinates. An optional polarscope is available for aiding in polar alignment.

Optional single-axis and dual-axis D.C. motor drives can be installed for tracking and guiding.

The EQ3 PRO SynScan mount uses the same Go-To system found in the HEQ5 and EQ6 PRO SynScan mounts. It allows you to point the telescope at a specific object or even tour the skies at the touch of a button. Its extensive database includes a massive 42,900+ night sky objects.

The EQ3 PRO SynScan mount is a perfect instrument for novice visual observers and imagers to enjoy astronomy with minimal setup time and little knowledge of the night sky.

Please note that the handset holder is designed for a different tripod so we suggest you use a cord or velcro to secure it when not in use.

Supplied complete with a bubble level, latitude adjuster with micrometer scale and an azimuth polar-alignment adjuster. It also features engraved aluminium setting circles and manual slow motion tracking controls. An optional polarscope is available for aiding in polar alignment.

Optional single-axis and dual-axis D.C. motor drives can be installed for tracking and guiding.

The EQ5 SynScan computerised mount is suitable for rrefractors up to 100mm in aperture and reflectors up to 200mm.

Synscan is a fully-automated GOTO system that is easy to set up and use. It will find and track many thousands of objects, helping you to learn your way around the sky and discover its most beautiful sights.

• SKY WATCHER

The HEQ5 mount has a payload capacity up to 18kg and is designed for observers who want a sturdy mount but find the EQ6 too heavy to handle. Like the EQ6 it has engraved aluminium setting circles and latitude scale.

It has a built-in polar scope holder and polarscope, large R.A. and DEC. locking clamps, built-in dual axis motor drives with multi-speed hand controller, and retractable counterweight shaft and counterweight. The field tripod is remarkably stable with adjustable height, incorporating 1.75" diameter stainless steel tripod legs.

Can be upgraded easily to a fully computerised Go-To mount with the HEQ5 SynScan PRO GOTO Upgrade Kit (Product code OV-887) available separately.

• SKY WATCHER

The HEQ5 Syntrek comes complete with the motors, encoders and motherboard needed for full GOTO control but is supplied with a simple tracking handset for those who don't yet need full GOTO.

It can be upgraded to full GOTO capability by simply replacing the handset.

The HEQ5 SynScan computerised mount is suitable for refractors up to 120mm in aperture and reflectors up to 250mm.

The HEQ5 won the Sky at Night group test award and is highly recommended for those who want a stable, computerised mount but don't require the weight of the EQ6.

The Sky-Watcher EQ6 equatorial mount is the first of its kind, and is top of SkyWatcher's range of equatorial mounts. It is a precision instrument capable of carrying massive payloads (up to 25Kg) but at the same time is very reasonably priced. The mount is excellent for visual observations and short-term unguided CCD imaging with most telescopes of conventional design. It will easily handle refractors up to 8"/200mm and classic Newtonians up to 14"/350mm in aperture.

The EQ6 has a black powder coat finish and weighs in at 17Kg.

The NEQ6 is the sturdiest and most stable mount in the SynScan rannge and will carry refractors in excess of 120mm and reflectors up to 300mm in aperture.

The NEQ6 mount is an upgraded version of the Popular EQ6 and comes complete with a counterweight extension bar and two Skywatcher saddle plates, 45mm and 75mm.

Upgrade handset to convert an HEQ5 or EQ6 Syntrek mount to full GOTO capability. Both Syntrek mounts already have the GOTO motherboard, motors and encoders necessary for GOTO operation so this handset is all that is needed to upgrade them.

For V.2 owners wanting to upgrade, the V.3 SynScan hand control includes new features such as: Firmware-updateability via the internet, Pointing Accuracy Enhancement (PAE), and capability to store star alignment data. Also can accept new GPS mouse attachment.

The EQ6 extension tube extends the height of the EQ6 mount so it is easier for an observer to look into a long refractor. Installed between the tripod and the mount head, this heavy-duty metal tube adds about 8" in height to the assembly while maintaining the stability of the mount.

Provides a stable platform for all the standard HEQ5 mountings including PRO versions. Complete with wheels, which can be disengaged when mount is in use. Designed for use on a reasonably hard, level surface close to where the telescope is normally stored. Colour: Black.
