#777 Off-axis Guider for LX-Series Telescopes Ref: MEA-07054

MEADEThe Off-axis Guider connects an SLR camera body (via a T-ring) to the rear cell of an SCT to allow direct photography. It also incorporates a small pick-off prism near the edge of the field which feeds into an eyepiece. By monitoring a guide star through this eyepiece the observer can correct for minor variations of telescope tracking during long exposures. The Off-Axis Guider works best with an illuminated reticle eyepiece so that very small deviations can be identified quickly and can be corrected accurately.

#644 Flip Mirror System - 1.25" Ref: MEA-07578

MEADEThe #644 Flip Mirror System is designed to simplify the process of setting up an imager. Its basic function is to allow the user to inspect, centre, compose and focus the telescopic imager prior to the image being taken. Adjustments allow the flip mirror to be set up for any 1.25" eyepiece. Users with large CCDs or 35 mm cameras are advised to consider the larger #647 flip mirror to avoid vignetting. Mirror clear aperture for the #644 is 22 mm.
