The new SLC binoculars from Swarovski fit so comfortably in your hand you won't want to put them down again. Three-element objectives, optimised roof-prism design with phase-coating, application of Swarobright, Swarodur and Swarotop coatings where approporiate and an integrated dipotre adjustment system make these no-compromise binoculars a delight to look through.
Individually-adjustable twist-up eyecups can be removed for cleaning, a feature rarely found on inferior binoculars. Dirt-proof, dust-proof and waterproof down to 4m. Nitrogen filling ensures they won't fog internally, even in the harshest conditions.
All models are supplied with case, carry strap, objective lens covers, and adjustable eyepiece cover.
7x50 is the most common format used by yachtsmen and other sailors. The low magnification and very bright images make them ideal for spotting coastal landmarks, buoys and other vessels from a moving deck in poor light conditions.
This is also a format favoured by astronomers, again because the images are so bright. For truly spectacular views of the night sky this the binocular to choose.
Designed to give a brighter image in poor light than a typical 8x40 or 8x42 'bird-watching' binocular, these may be the ones to choose if you expect to use the binoculars in bad light when your eyes are properly dark-adapted. Ideal for observing nocturnal animals and intruders.
10x50 is the most popular format for astronomy, and it's also excellent for any application where you want as much magnification as the average person can handle comfortably and very good poor-light performance.
A full 7mm exit pupil will give the brightest images in bad light making this the first choice for younger hunters, astronomers and nocturnal animal observers. Older users will find the exit pupil overfills their eye and they won't get the full benefit of the extra aperture, but the larger exit pupil does make it easier to align the binoculars on a dark target.
The most powerful binocular in the SLC range, it is best used with a tripod or braced against a tree or similar support. It comes complete with a Swarovski Tripod Adaptor.
More comfortable to wear than a conventional strap. Prevents the binocular from swinging around while keeping it instantly ready. Takes the weight off your neck.
With an integrated tripod plate for a simple and faster attachment of Swarovski SLC binoculars (except SLC 8x30 WB). (Supplied as standard with the Swarovski SLC 15x56 WB binocular.)
The Swarovski Binocular Booster can be used with any EL 32/42 and SLC 42 to 56 models to convert one side into a small spotting scope with twice the magnification of the basic binocular. To fit it simply unscrew one of the eyecups and screw the booster in its place to provide a rigid coupling.
This is an ideal accessory to carry for those odd occasions when you need a bit more power. Much lighter and smaller than carrying a separate field scope.
