 Skywatcher Quattro f/4 Telescopes The new QUATTRO series with their fast f/4 focal ratios, have been specially designed for high quality astrophotography with short exposure times. They are of course also fine telescopes for visual observations. All models feature paraboloidal primary mirrors made of low thermal expansion Pyrex glass resulting in substantially shorter cooling-down times. Initially available in 8 and 10-inch models you have the choice of steel tubes or carbon fibre. Dual-speed focusers are fitted as standard and utilise roller bearings for zero-image shift, even when carrying heavy cameras. |
