 Starlight Xpress SXVR-H16 Camera The SXVR-H16 camera is based around Kodak's KAI4021M sensor with 2048 x 2048 7.4 micron square pixels. This gives a sensitive area of 15.15 x 15.15 mm. The camera includes a two-stage Peltier cooler to produce very low dark current. High quanrum efficiency, especially in the green, makes this an excellent monochrome camera. It incorporates Sarlight Xpress' innovative system for controlling an autoguider, filter wheel and other devices through the single USB connection, reducing and simplifying your telescope cabling. Download time for a full image is around 2.5 seconds which greatly reduces any top to bottom gradient. |
