Takahashi TSA-120Takahashi's latest refractor (November 2009) has the same optical design as its smaller brother, the TSA-102 which has been such a popular choice for people wanting a superior 4-inch telescope. Its triplet objective is made from an FPL-63 extra-low-dispersion glass between two crown elements to eliminate chromatic aberration. These elements are separated by air spaces which cuts out any of the problems associated with oil-spacing, such as leakage and increasing opacity with age. TSA stands for Triplet Super Apochromat - as close to perfection as you can get.
