William Optics have adapted their popular high-performance DDG focuser for retrofitting to Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescopes (SCT). Owners of most Meade and Celestron SCTs can now enjoy the benefits of a precision focuser with digital readout, ideal for the accurate focusing needed for successful astrophotography. A new stainless steel rail embedded in the drawtube prevents bending and slippage. And the smooth 10:1 two-speed crayford mechanism ensures zero-image shift. The focuser will rotate through 360 degrees to align your camera and is locked in place by two screws for extra stability. This is an ehhancement that serious astrophotographers will want to add to their SCTs.
