Digital Ranger Night Vision Monocular

The Digital Ranger is a new type of night vision device. Instead of using a vacuum tube like conventional Generation 1 and 2 devices it uses a very sensitive CCD camera coupled to an LCD display screen. This has several advantages. The scope is more rugged, less suceptible to damage due to over exposure to daylight, and, it produces a better image with less distortion. The image is easier on the eye than the green screen usually encountered in night vision scopes.

A kit comprising the 28041 Ranger 5x42 and the 27041 MPR.

Although the Ranger is designed primarily as a hand-held night vision monocular it can also be attached to a tripod for stationary use and/or video recording. With a built-in video output connector the Ranger can be seamlessly connected to the MPR player/recorder.

The MPR is also available as a separate accessory (27041) so you can connect it to the Ranger/Ranger Pro 5x42.
