A total eclipse of the Sun is one of the most
dramatic sights that nature provides |
Green Witch travelled to Northern France to watch the eclipse and enjoyed a superb view. It was an incredible sight but totality was over so quickly that we wanted to start planning our next eclipse trip straight away. As a more practical alternative we thought it would be a good idea to collect together some pictures and stories to remind us of this one. If you would like to contribute something, please send it to us at Green Witch.
The record will be published on our web pages so we would prefer contributions by email with pictures attached as electronic files. We have a scanner so can handle prints if you can't send electronic copies, but please label your pictures and let us know if you want them to be returned. If you are able to send copies that we can keep then we would be very grateful.
We know that some of you were not so lucky and suffered from bad weather, but we are sure that your story may still be of interest to others. So please tell us what you got up to, whether you used the opportunity for a party or barbeque, or just an excuse to knock off work for a couple of hours. Follow the Green Witch link below to see what we got up to.
