| Solar Eclipse of August 1999 from Isfahan, Iran |
| Photographs taken by Saber Anvari |
Saber Anvari took these eclipse photos from Isfahan in Iran. They were sent to us by Alborz Bahavar. He provided this information about the photos:
Dear Sir,
We have seen your photo of the last eclipse of millennium which was on 11 August 1999.
We have also taken some good photos from that eclipse. They are attached to this email
and the information is about this photos as following;
- Place of photography: Iran - Isfahan
- Date and time: 11, August 1999 - 16:33':28" local time
- Photographer: Saber Anvari,
- Lens: 300:2/8+2X+3X=1800 mm
- Media: Kodak Chrome ASA 100 sw
It was a very beautiful teamwork and it takes about 1 month to get ready for this
photos. From 1 month before, everyday about same time of the eclipse, we check
the sky for sun position and best solution for it's photography and even we have
made the combination of lenses to achieve the best solution. The results was good,
and we catch it in the full frame. Also there was not any ND filter on the lenses.
Best regards,
Alborz Bahavar
