Jamie Cooper took this image with a Nikon Coolpix and a Meade ETX-90EC fitted with a 'white light' solar filter. He used a Scopetronix Digi-T system to mount the camera onto the ETX's 26mm Plossl eyepiece. The levels and colour balance were adjusted using Photoshop.
At the time of writing, Patrick Moore intended showing the image on the Sky at Night in June 2003.
