Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from outside the United Kingdom place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. We accept most major credit and debit cards.
When you receive an order confirmation, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
In the UK small items are sent by post and are charged according to weight. Large and/or valuable items such as telescopes are sent via courier. Overseas orders are generally dispatched using a courier service. The service chosen varies with destination and the nature of the shipment. Currently we use Fedex and Interlink Express for domestic deliveries. Orders are usually filled within two to three days.
We aim to deliver your order right away and carry extensive stocks to make this possible. Occasionally we may take a little longer, especially at busy times. International orders are generally delivered in under 14 days. If we are out of stock and cannot obtain the item in a few days we will endeavour to contact you to let you know what is happening. If you are concerned about your order for any reason then please let us know. Please note that if there is anything missing or damaged when an order is delivered we must be notified within 72 hours of the delivery.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. If you do not want to wait you always have the option to cancel your order.
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, VAT is added at the prevailing rate. All other orders are VAT free. (We can supply goods free of VAT to EU companies who supply us with a valid VAT registration number.)
Credit Card Security
Credit card transactions are handled by a secure payment service provider complying with current relevant standards. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties, except those necessary to fulfill the order such as courier companies.
All our products come with full manufacturers' guarantees. In addition we are dedicated to your satisfaction and will provide you with all the help you need to sort out any problems and to get the most from your purchase.

Green Witch does not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfillment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.opsi.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm
In general this enables you to return unused goods if you wish to cancel the contract. If you do so then you are responsible for the cost of postage or shipping. You have 14 days from receipt to inform us and a further 14 days to return them.
All orders must be paid in advance (except for certain official bodies and companies by prior arrangement). The preferred method is by online submission of your credit or debit card details. You can send your details separately if you prefer.
